Q. Should I wash compression bandages only by hand?
A.
Medical compression bandages have elasticity; they are made by weaving the fabric strand by strand. Machine washing may cause ladders or decrease in pressure sensation.
Therefore, if you want to use your bandages for a longer period without deterioration, we recommend hand-washing if possible.
